The grain of the wood shows thought the white after it is applied. We can however make it allot more white by applying it once again. If you would like for your item to be whitewashed twice. UV resistant and non-yellowing,  it is absolutely safe to use on children's toys. Currently we only offer the Clear finish, which has a faint, golden cast that is much lighter then other finishes.   To add a Clear Coat to your ordered item..
